A Family Vacation "IMPACT" Style

On Thursday, July 17th and Friday, July 18th twelve families drove from all over the state of Indiana to join Gary Brackett and the IMPACT Foundation team for their all expense paid trip to Holiday World and Splashin' Safari. "Today it is not about cancer, or blood tests or hospitals. Today is about creating an experience for these families that they will never forget. If we can make one day a little easier for these kids and their families, it is all worth it," says Gary Brackett.

And what a memory this was. The two day adventure began with families flocking to the gates of Holiday World to get their first taste of the family friendly park. Holiday World and Splashin' Safari offer a variety of rides for all ages. From the Voyage to the Bahari River, our group experienced it all!

Families were invited to refuel in the afternoon as they joined Gary for a VIP luncheon. During this time they were able to get autographs and take pictures with Gary. Colts N' Motion and the Indianapolis Cheerleaders were also on hand to sign autographs and showcase the history of Colts football.

After a long and hot day at the park, each family spent a night in the lap of luxury at one of Indiana's most treasured landmarks, the West Baden Springs Hotel. This was truly a five star experience!

On Friday morning West Baden created quite a spread as the families joined Gary for a breakfast feast! Afterwards, it was off the park for another day of rides, slides, games and a whole lot of fun! The IMPACT Foundation would like to thank our partners at Holiday World and West Baden for making this "Field of Dreams" event a dream come true for twelve very deserving families!
